The counseling Brian provides is primarily Philosophical Counseling in the form of Logic-Based Therapy, with Faith Integration as requested. In addition, he uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy, along with Reintegrative Therapy interventions. Reintegrative Therapy is a set of interventions for addictions, trauma, and obsessions.

Psychomoralitics is a science and approach that treats the psychomoral part of a person. This is the mind and heart, or intellect and will. It relies upon three principles: receive the real, assent to truth, choose the good. When using psychomoralitics, Brian encourages openness to reality and learning and growing from it.
